The summer of Društvo za permakulturo Slovenije (DPS) passed by in preparations for the biggest agricultural fair that happened in the last week of August in Gornja Radgona, in North-East of Slovenia.

Already in July we spent a week at the venue of the fair where is also our little straw bale building. Families with children came and we included children in preparing the garden and building a path to the house.

During the fair we hold space for children’s area and parents could leave the children with us for several hours. 

We spent the time together cooking, playing and visiting the stables with different animals.

Being amazed by a small pond with fish we were designing strategies how to catch them.
